The company was founded in 1991 by Patrick v\/d Hoeven, who has been fascinated by the impressive workhorses, mainly from the Scania brand, since his younger years. The company is mainly involved in national and international transport. \u201cWe are a small team of enthusiasts for the industry and also crazy about trucks. But what makes us different from the others, you may ask? \u201cWe are a close-knit team of boys and girls who do more than just drive trucks, it is a passion for us,\u201d says Fedor: one of the regular drivers of P. v\/d Hoeven Transport. \u201cWe are given the opportunity to influence the finish of the truck we drive, so every truck is different and therefore ‘unique’. Patrick has a clear explanation for this: \u201cUltimately, these trucks are the workplace where we are present for hours, so we try to make them as comfortable as possible. Of course, the eye also wants something, which is why we always match the color scheme and type of structure to our corporate identity. And that is well liked by many.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”22px”][vc_custom_heading text=”For and by fans!” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text]We have now built up a considerable ‘fan base’ of fellow enthusiasts with an eye for trucks. For example, we started merchandising a few years ago. This includes scale models of the various models we have, but also all kinds of gadgets, clothing and custom parts for trucks. My wife Liesbeth manages this, she also maintains our social media channels and therefore has direct contact with many of our fans. Of course it is a matter of supply and demand. Liesbeth is quite a crafter herself, so she made some of the items we sell online and at shows herself in her studio. We also work with a number of companies specialized in various types of merchandising.<\/p>\n

Patrick now has an impressive collection of (oldtimer) trucks with which he also attends various shows and other exhibitions. We also participate annually in the\u2018Most Beautiful Truck in the Netherlands\u2019<\/strong> contest organized by Truckstar in Assen, but we can also regularly be found at various other shows at home and abroad. This is the perfect way for Patrick to combine his passion with his daily profession.<\/p>\n
